KPMG and AccessFintech announce collaboration to support financial institutions with digital transformation

Partnership will provide operational and post-trade data services to financial institutions

LONDON, NEW YORK & TEL AVIV, June 21, 2022 – KPMG, a leading global advisor in capital markets, and AccessFintech, a leading fintech company evolving the financial operating model through data and workflow collaboration, today announced a partnership to support large financial institutions in digitally transforming their operations. The partnership will integrate AccessFintech’s Synergy Network into KPMG’s Connected Operations Transformation proposition.

KPMG’s Connected Operations Transformation offering is designed to help clients streamline their digital operating models, unlock data insights and accelerate operational transformation. AccessFintech is a core component of this offering and allows clients to modernise their data and operations management by connecting them to AccessFintech’s Synergy Network. The network enables users to streamline regulatory requirements, strengthen operational resilience and cut costs.

AccessFintech’s Synergy Network aggregates and normalises data and facilitates configurable but standard operations management workflow, underpinning the transformation of operations across the entire transaction lifecycle and increasing insight benchmarking across the financial ecosystem. Clients that use AccessFintech’s Synergy Network will benefit from better and faster data transparency, allowing middle and back-office teams to focus on high priority risks remediation.

Feargal De Burca, partner at KPMG UK, said: “Financial institutions are increasingly seeking to transform and streamline their processes and operations in the face of a challenging economic and regulatory environment. Our partnership with AccessFintech will build on our efforts to help our clients bridge the gap between their legacy and modern technology systems as well as improve team collaboration, data management, and operational resilience.”

Matt Digby, VP Business Development, AccessFintech, said: “As a trusted adviser to leading financial institutions worldwide, KPMG deeply understands the challenges those organisations are dealing with in an ever-changing landscape. We are excited to work with KPMG to support the efficient and seamless implementation of Synergy Network within a broad range of firms seeking to digitally transform their operations while reducing cost and risk.”
